Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 19 July 2026
Masjid is a mosque transparency directory intended for adults. It has no chat, messaging, media feeds, or user-to-user interaction beyond viewing published mosque information. We nevertheless maintain and enforce the following standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
Our standards
- We prohibit any content or conduct that sexualises, exploits, or endangers children, anywhere in the service.
- All published mosque pages are human-reviewed before becoming visible, and any image or text later found to violate this policy results in immediate suspension of the responsible account and removal of the content.
- Where we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material or exploitation, we preserve evidence and report it to the relevant authorities, including Pakistan's FIA National Response Centre for Cyber Crime and, where applicable, the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
How to report a concern
- In the app: every masjid page has a Report button with a dedicated "Child safety concern" category. These reports are triaged with the highest priority.
- By email: muabdullah9987@gmail.com — please include "CHILD SAFETY" in the subject line.
Point of contact
The designated child-safety point of contact for this app is the publisher, reachable at the email address above. Reports are reviewed promptly, and law-enforcement requests are answered as required by applicable law.
